The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

CryptoTrend (accessible at cryptotrend.money) is a market data visualization and technical analysis software platform. It is not a financial institution, broker-dealer, or registered investment adviser.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data: username, email address, hashed password (stored client-side via Web Crypto API — we do not store cleartext passwords server-side).
• Subscription data: subscription plan, trial start date, payment confirmation (processed entirely by Stripe and Helio — we do not receive or store your card number or crypto wallet private keys).
• Usage data: newsletter subscription preferences (email + selected assets), referral code, bonus days earned.
• Technical data: IP address (anonymized in logs), browser type, language preference, pages visited — collected via standard server logs.

We do not collect: social security numbers, government IDs, bank account details, or trading account credentials.

• To operate and provide the CryptoTrend platform (scanner, academy, reports).
• To send daily market data reports and newsletters to subscribers.
• To manage subscriptions and process payment confirmation (via third parties).
• To operate the referral / affiliate program.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for automated financial decision-making, profiling for advertising, or any form of trading on your behalf.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, the legal basis for processing personal data is:

• Performance of a contract — processing your account data and subscription to provide the service you requested.
• Legitimate interest — improving platform security, preventing fraud, and operating the affiliate program.
• Consent — newsletter subscriptions and optional email alerts (you may withdraw consent at any time).

California residents: under the CCPA, you have the right to know, delete, and opt-out of the sale of your personal information. CryptoTrend does not sell personal information. Contact legal@cryptotrend.money to exercise your rights.

• Active subscribers: data retained for the duration of the subscription plus 12 months.
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Referral / KV data: 90 days after account inactivity.
• Server logs: 30 days, then automatically purged.

The following third-party services process data on our behalf or independently when you use the platform:

When you pay by card, your payment details are collected and processed exclusively by Stripe under their own PCI-DSS compliant framework. CryptoTrend never receives, stores, or processes your card number or billing information.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure ("Right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Restriction — restrict processing in certain circumstances.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent — for newsletter and alert subscriptions at any time.

CryptoTrend uses localStorage (not third-party tracking cookies) to store user preferences, session data, and subscription status client-side. No advertising tracking pixels or third-party analytics SDKs are currently deployed.

If you clear your browser storage, your local session and preferences will be reset. This does not affect any server-side data we hold.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and restricted access to production systems. No internet transmission is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours as required by applicable law.

CryptoTrend is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact legal@cryptotrend.money and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
